Happy Memorial Day!
Today is day 30 of the #positivitycharge challenge. Every day I will share something: a story, song, person that has had a positive impact on me.
The meaning of Memorial Day Shifted for me 11 years ago when I met & fell in love withBrian Meerbott, now a 20 year veteran of the US Navy. Fortunately, he did not give all, although he gave a lot selflessly of himself.
It's difficult to put into words the sacrifices that some have given to protect the blanket of freedom we live under and often take for granted. So when I saw this post from one of my teachers: Bill Cumming I knew it was the perfect way to honor those we have lost over the years. Thank you Bill Cumming for helping me find the words:
Toward a world that works for everyone....
IN CELEBRATION OF AND GRATITUDE TO: ALL THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES, GAVE PARTS OF THEIR BODIES, HAVE OR ARE SERVING NOW to create for me the freedom to experience this magical life!
GRANT US the wisdom to create a WORLD THAT WORKS FOR EVERYONE, so that this kind of contribution in no longer necessary! When all people experience that they are loved without condition, it will be impossible to recruit a terrorist or believe we have the only solution.
With all the love in my heart, deep gratitude and every blessing!
Namaste!
Bill Cumming
