The Race Across America is 4 months away, but the team and I already have been working countless hours on our preparation. I’m so impressed with everyone commitment and level of engagement!
In total, 10 people in 3 vehicles will support me 24/7 during the race so that I can ride 20 hours a day and cover 4800 kilometers / 3000 miles in 10 days… or less!
Here’s a first principle that is very important to us, to create high performance and engagement:

We initially wanted to meet once a month. As a team leader, I did not want to ask too much from the team. It turns out, meeting more often but for short periods of time (weekly), led to more engagement and performance.
