How does love transcend limitations?
Your love transcends as it turns you into the best version of yourself because your beloved will be your shrink, confidant, friend, lover, rock, anchor, accountant, lawyer, nurse, cook and so many other roles and you will do them back and because your fulfilling these roles you want to do the best for your beloved and not let them down so you become a better person constantly pushing away the negative thoughts and completing challenges and over coming obstacles because you love someone. Because love is divine, and divinity is not limited and it’s infinite.
The love brings out the best in you, it shows you all the obstacles that you need to overcome so that you could meet your true self and live the with the only truth that is eternal and that is love. If you want to love unconditionally, don’t expect it to last. Because fake roses will last longer whereas real rose will die in a day but it will give you the feel that 1000 fake roses can’t give. And the good thing is you can always grow another. If you want to love unconditionally, Don’t have fear about when the relationship is going to end. Because fear murders love. When you don’t worry about long-lasting love, it will last longer.
If you live in constant fear about tomorrow, you can’t live at the present completely. Don’t expect it to be long-lasting. Enjoy the ephemeral of the love. Don’t try to possess love only for you, it is for everyone. Have intimacy. That is a criterion for true love, according to me. Why is love always confined to boundaries and labels? Why can’t we just love a person, because we like a person? Why do people worry about friend-zoning/sister/bhai zoning…etc,…etc.
I feel can you transcend from your current limitations by simply getting out of your own way. We are only limiting our selves by our thinking and what we has been imprinted in our subconscious mind by others; family, friends, social and cultural standings. If we have fallen into their trap of obedience, manipulation and control, then we should look inwards (self-reflection) to see what our thoughts, beliefs and expectations are. We might feel we are limited because of a lack of education. finances or personal appeal to others; none of which are true but we have been led to believe.
What we believe to be true, will become a truth we live by and our reality will give us the confirmation to prove to ourselves that our belief is our truth. If we were told/taught at a young age that we would never amount to anything because our family is poor, jobs are scarce, or the family must stick together in order to survive, then if we believe this to be true, our expectations will be limited.
‘How can we transcend from our current limitations’? Well, we can’t throw the baby out with the bathwater, as it has all of our thoughts, beliefs and expectations, we are left with a baby sitting in a bowl to reflect on where to begin. In point form…What would we really like to do/become? Once we have decided, then we need to take steps to create this realty for ourselves. As an example, if we were to choose something we had an inner ‘desire’, to become; being realistic, if we haven’t the education or we are passed middle age, a rocket scientist might be reaching for the stars.
So let choose to be a musician, then pick an instrument and ‘imagine’, yourself playing your music in front of people, (10/50/ 1000’s of people) in pubs, theaters or arenas which can hold thousands. Of course we need to learn the instrument and practice, but behind the scenes, our ‘expectations’, are working hard at delivering the artistic package you want. I have bolded the 3 main ingredients required to overcome our limitations.
Do we believe that we can achieve the goals we have set for ourselves? Every ‘thought’, we have is a prayer and if it is accompanied with emotion/feeling that our goal will become a reality for us; then it will. However, life sometimes gets in the way hasn’t provided us with our goal as quickly as we expected, so doubt creeps into our ‘thoughts and expectations’; turning negatively towards our ‘expectations’, and then our ‘beliefs’, falter and so does our enthusiasm.
The prayer we sent out will always provide us with… ‘what we believe to be a truth for us, will become a reality for us’. Our divinity within ourselves, is our universal provider, the one whom we prayed to, will supply to us the reality we wish to experience, however, if we create doubt in our wishes being fulfilled, then all we will receive is unfulfilled wishes. We are only limiting our selves by our thinking and what we has been imprinted in our subconscious mind by others; family, friends, social and cultural standings. If we were to look inwards (self-reflection) to see what our thoughts, beliefs and expectations are then we might see for ourselves what limited thinking we want to change. Cheers!
Let me try and elaborate with a poem By - Collins Novice
Love is not love if…..
When I first saw you
I knew then, you’re trouble
I am not the same
I am smitten
Forlorn a world, forsaken
Yet none saw the me, but you
Compassionate not condescending
Blunt yet not blistering
When beauty’s all around

Still fazes, it’s profound
But it’s the hurt beneath your eyes
All knowing, enchanting
In a world of pain
A soul kindred, to live for
Why smudge with words
Why wake the dream
All I want is your presence
Your company my only essence
It’s not love which
Depends,
It’s not love, which
confines,
To labels, To demands
Love extends
Tis love that knows
No condition
Tis love that endures
This tragedy called life.
