How To Write A LinkedIn Article In 5 Easy Steps.
Article Structure Template
Title
(this could either be a punchy statement or the top benefit of your article)
Step 1) Intro
Attention grab: This is where you need to grab the reader’s attention and draw them in by writing a few lines related to the article topic
Paint a picture: evoke emotion by striking a nerve, the pain point your target prospect suffers from
Provide a solution: indirectly cover how the following point are going to be the guide to solving their problem
Step 2) Paragraph 1
Make your first point. Start providing value. You don’t want this to be the juiciest part but you want the reader to be drawn in. I like to start with logic and facts to then go and pull emotion in within the next section
Step 3) Paragraph 2
Make your second point. You don’t want to include more than 1 thought per paragraph. Keep it simple by making a point, backing it up and moving on.
Step 4) Paragraph 3
Make your third point. Give some real-life application here by explaining how you or others have used the points outlined to solve the problem at hand.
Step 5) Conclusion
Wrap up by concluding the message of your piece and providing a cta (call to action). Give your opinion, your conclusive piece of advice to your readers and pose a question to encourage engagement
Conclusion... Really.
