Hurricane Helene help for people and businesses in Western NC

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, communities across Western North Carolina have come together to support one another through various resources and initiatives. This collection, compiled by me and others, serves as a beginning guide for individuals and businesses affected by the disaster. Whether you're seeking assistance, helping others, or simply ensuring your loved ones are safe, these resources provide some information on finding people, disaster relief, and opportunities to contribute to recovery efforts. Let’s rebuild stronger, together. I will be updating as I get more information so keep the link. If you know of a resource to help please add it as a comment and I will integrate ones that are appreciate. - Martin Brossman

Places, Small Businesses and Artist to support NOW in Western NC

Part of the tragedy is that when people heard about the disaster many just assume the entire area was destroyed and canceled plans of going to Western North Carolina. The other thing is that as areas get the roads clear and the business is set up they of course, need customers and some have even been able to get there online presents working again. I've moved to the top of the page, businesses and areas and articles that are available for customers.

Helping Western Carolina Businesses & Communities

ShopWNC is a site created by the impacted Western North Carolina (WNC) counties and is dedicated to helping to support our local communities and small businesses that have recently endured significant losses due to Hurricane Helene. The purpose of this site is to promote those communities and towns that are open to visitors or have online stores where you can show your support by purchasing from these businesses.
