I'm very spiritual.
Hey friend,
How are you starting out this week?
I hope as happy and productive as me.
The week started with a positive rollercoaster and I'm particularly excited for this week, you'll find out why tomorrow.
Let's get to today!
#GTKM_Day9: I'm a very spiritual person.
I strongly believe the spiritual controls the physical. I'm a firm believer that everything happening is not a coincidence and it has well been orchestrated by the divine creator, God.
I strongly acknowledge God in my every day, even the littlest activities like cooking, washing, looking for a lost item- Yup! I'm that deep.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have a sob salvation story like Saul or Tarsus. I was born into a Christian home and my parent took us to church ad taught us the word.
However, I had to make the decision to surrender my life to Christ an intentional act.
"It is with the heart that man believes unto righteousness, but with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"- Romans 10:10.
So on December 26, 2010, during Christmas Service, under the ministration of Bishop Wole Oke to teenagers of Oregun Foursquare Gospel Church, I made the salvation decision and I've been working out my salvation since then. Making conscious decisions to live a 'good' life. Nothing "changed" in the physical, but over the years, I began to yearn for a change, for deeper realms, I was more conscious of what I did and where I went.
I was raised to be a "good girl", so even if I wanted to be wayward, so I always yearned for something 'dramatic' to happen. It never did- not to my eye anyways.
I walk with the belief that I have an assignment to fulfil and it's my mantra to exit this world empty.
On Dec 1, 2024, I had my baptism of the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues for the first time. I was so elated. All I've wanted to do since then is just pray. I love being in the presence of God.
I worship with Celebration Church International, Ikeja campus. It's a home I found this year (been out of church since 2014- dnt ask me what happened! 🙄, but I saw the difference and how far I fell ).
It's such a pleasure to know that God NEVER forsakes His fallen soldiers. What a good! good Father.
