In-office work culture is being replaced: Conversation between Ankush Wadhwa of Wurkr and Ashwin Moduga of Mosaic Digital
At the Future of Workforce event presented by TechCircle, Ankush Wadhwa, CRO at Wurkr had a conversation with Ashwin Moduga of Mosaic Digital. The discussion inclined towards how the current work culture is replacing the Conventional in-office work culture.
Moduga listed certain key points that define how technology is playing a significant role in shaping today's work environment. The distributed teams have found a way to collaborate and connect with colleagues using tech tools. But using tech at work also has a huge impact on employees' well-being.
Ankush, meanwhile, was quick to point out some of the issues faced while working in a hybrid environment. He talked about employees who have reported having suffered from digital fatigue while using different, mutually exclusive tools to complete their regular office tasks. The switching of platforms ranged from having meetings on a video platform, using a chat platform for communication, and maintaining an Excel sheet for the tasks. The constant switching within various tools caused digital fatigue to many of the employees during the pandemic.
In such a situation, it has become vital to have a virtual workplace where the employees can log in from anywhere and start working. This is where Wurkr fits in - it offers video conferencing, personalized and room chats and replicating physical office. Wurkr offers location independence in the true sense - you can start working from the US and log out of the system from, let's say, Paris. Additionally, isn't it cool if you can work from your mobile device? Yes, with Wurkr, that is possible.

As far as the workforce trend is concerned, people prefer working from the location of their choosing, or some work even while travelling. Therefore, there is a movement going on across the world, called "The Great Resignation" where people are resigning their jobs because their employer does not offer them the flexibility to work from anywhere.
With the use of tech, we have been able to establish a virtual workspace that offers a lot of work-life flexibility. When we discuss the distributed workforce, the emphasis is placed heavily on digital interactions and digital fatigue.
When you use Wurkr, your team can have
When asked why a universal workspace is a necessity, Ankush insists that video conferencing has become redundant. Keeping digital fatigue a concern, employees need an all-in-one workspace. They need tools where they can have a video/audio discussion with the team members without sending a meeting invite - regardless of whether the meeting is to discuss a business plan or a casual conversation.
With a shift towards new work culture, people do not want to waste their time commuting to a physical office anymore. They need a virtual workspace where they can log in from anywhere in the world. If you take a look at the future of such a workspace, like Wurkr, it will be limitless soon. Wurkr is ushering in an era where people can work from anywhere and yet be able to collaborate with their teams seamlessly.
