The NBA is teaming up with Disney and Sony’s Beyond Sports on Christmas Day for its first ever animated simulcast of a live game.
‘Dunk The Halls’ will see real-time recreations of the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks face off at Magic Kingdom Park in front of beloved characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. The presentation will be streamed on Disney+ and ESPN+ and broadcast in the US on ESPN2.
FIFA is to further expand its portfolio of officially licensed video games with the release of FIFA Rivals, a blockchain-enabled mobile football management title.
Developed by Mythical Games for iOS and Android, the game will allow players able to use the Mythos blockchain to buy, sell and trade players as they build their team.
Sportradar has agreed a multi-year deal with Major League Baseball to provide AI and data-driven scouting services to its 30 member clubs.
The Swiss-based company will equip teams with the Synergy Coaching and Scouting solution – which converts data points from video into detailed metrics, actionable insights and dynamic visualizations – to overhaul talent-identification processes and expand coverage of minor league, college and high-school competitions from 3,300 games to over 20,000.

Former Chicago Bulls executive Kevin Brilliant, a behavioural scientist and sports marketing specialist, has launched Take The Win, a new social platform that encourages users to celebrate their successes with their personal communities.
