The KPC for success
At a time when FIFA is warning Spain about its candidacy to host the 2030 World Cup - 100 years after the first World Cup was played in Uruguay - due to its conflicts in the governance of the local football federation, few can explain under these circumstances, how the successes of the men's and women's national teams are forged, from youth to senior categories. It seems difficult to explain, but in reality it is very simple to do so.
However, this fact shows and demonstrates that many times governing football has two aspects; the sportive and the political; I do not deal with or worry about the second one.
Let's talk about the sportive aspect. The results obtained recently and the championships that are held endorse the work that is done in the formative categories.
The most modest clubs as the base of this pyramid of growth, development and progress, are the support for so many consecrations at european and world level of the national teams.
As in most of the advanced countries in the world of football, the national teams do not reflect the football of a country. The free market of footballers, coaches and other professionals has made clubs with diverse economic capacities towers of Babel due to the numerous nationalities with different languages in their squads, and as a consequence, the issuance of passports for the youngest who have their aspirations of progressing by playing in the main leagues of their countries blocked. Since they cannot do so, they emigrate.

Now for the NT coaches it is not enough to travel around the country observing players; they have (I did it in Asia) to go through many airports (mainly European) to go see potential selectable footballers, or otherwise with the aid in many cases of new technologies.
With this reality as a base, the selection processes are built based on three key parameters: Knowledge, the Path and Continuity. What we call the KPC for success.
Getting to know the players, following a methodological path both on and off the field and achieving continuity in the development processes that allow the creation of generations of young footballers who, passing through the different categories and with numerous international matches, constitute the senior teams. General parameters for specific successes.
The greatest secret to achieving so many consecrations is in the coherence of the postulates formulated and followed to the letter in an environment concentrated on the pitches and that can allow the coaches to work with the means available to achieve the planned and long-desiredobjectives; in short, to develop the functions for which they were hired.
Today, the locomotive of the national teams drags those who want to get on the wagons that follow it. In this case, the rails are propped up on the green grass. -
