Leaders Read#46

👋 Hello everyone,

Here are a couple of posts you might have missed:

📚 Book Summary:

This week's book is "Thank You for Being Late" by Thomas L. Friedman.

This book explores the evolution of technology since the 1970s. It introduced me to Moore’s Law and shared interesting facts, such as Uber, the world’s largest taxi company, owning no cars, and Airbnb, the biggest hotel chain, owning no real estate.

One of my favorite take away from the book is this:

"No politician in America will tell you this, but every boss will: You can’t just show up. You need a plan to succeed. Like everything else in the age of acceleration, securing and holding a job requires dynamic stability—you need to keep pedaling (or paddling) all the time."

✅ Actionable advice:

It is time to cut the unnecessary noise. Close those apps on your phone and forget that Netflix show. Roll up your sleeves. Success demands effort. Define your success, align it with your values, make a plan, and remember, it all starts with a single step. Decide. Plan. Act.
