Are We Too Comfortable? Embracing Courage for Transformative Change

In the tapestry of human experience, moments of extraordinary significance often emerge when we summon the courage to step beyond the boundaries of our comfort zones and needing to control. As we embrace the new year, it's an opportune time to acknowledge that many of us could benefit from cultivating greater bravery to allow for the miracles awaiting us.

Are We Too Comfortable?

In the sanctuary of our comfort zones, it's easy to become complacent and overlook the potential for growth and transformation. The familiar routines, though comforting, may inadvertently hinder the very change that could lead to extraordinary outcomes. Perhaps it's time to question whether our comfort has become a hindrance to the miracles waiting just beyond the horizon.

I love the quote: Leap and the net will appear! It's how I have lived my life and it has allowed me to let go of control and trust , knowing I am not God and experience extraordinary things. We can live quite small, safe lives when we try to control outcomes and try to do everything in our own might.

This year, as we contemplate our aspirations and goals, let us recognize that bravery is often the spark that ignites the miraculous in our lives. It is the willingness to confront our fears, challenge our assumptions, and embrace vulnerability and have some faith that opens the door to extraordinary possibilities. For some of us, this may entail pursuing new passions, forging deeper connections, or confronting obstacles with resilience and determination.

For me it's living by faith and prayer and not running ahead in my own might but waiting for the divine timing and order of things and the promptings to take action.

Consider the stories of everyday heroes who have defied the odds, gone against all odds and transformed their lives through acts of courage. I have always admired people who have dared to pursue unconventional career paths and follow the passion that has been ignited in them. It has always fascinated me how we are each a masterpiece and wonderfully made. So unique in our giftings, appearances and skills and passions. There is a reason we have different hopes and dreams and it's important we pursue them, because they have been put on our hearts for a reason.

Miracles unfold when we muster the courage to pursue our dreams, overcome adversity, and embrace change with open arms. It is in moments of uncertainty and discomfort that we often discover our faith. When we come to the end of ourselves we step into faith and have to trust.

Often we know areas where we need to take these leaps or change things for our own good and often for the good of those around us. Whether it's embarking on a new career path, fostering meaningful relationships, or embarking on a journey of asking the greater questions in life, every leap of faith has the potential to catalyze transformative experiences.

When our courage is tested and our capacity for growth is expanded. Let's opt for growth this year and remember that miracles abound for those who dare to be brave and make right choices. May we embrace the opportunities that come our way, take leaps of faith and achieve our aspirations.

Oh Stephanie Woollard OAM great piece! I love “leap & the net will appear” as opposed to “feel the fear & do it anyway”! 💜
