Mass Timber for the People: International Mass Timber Conference 2025 Keynote Announced

Dear Forest Business Network Newsletter Reader:

Education is a substantial part of the International Mass Timber Conference and we're proud to start populating our Agenda for the 2025 event with some fantastic presentations. While there's not much showing on the Agenda at this time, our dedicated steering committee has been hard at work in approving and crafting top-notch presentations over the last few months. Bookmark that page and expect it to start filling out nicely in the coming weeks.

That said, I am proud to announce our opening keynote address for Wednesday, March 26. "Mass Timber for the People" will take you on an inspiring journey of the visionary leaders driving district scale developments on Portland, Oregon’s waterfront. Thomas Robinson of LEVER Architecture will guide our group of panelists on the main stage as they address two big questions:

  1. What does it take for these developments to use mass timber to advance workforce equity and sustainability while revitalizing Portland’s east side through community building?
  2.  How can this work be a blueprint for district scale mass timber development?

We've seen sneak peeks of these developments and I believe that you're going to love this presentation.

One last thing regarding the Mass Timber Conference. Time is truly of the essence. If you want to attend, please don't wait long to act because...

Happy holidays,

Craig Rawlings - President & CEO, Forest Business Network LLC
