My TEDx talk - "Congratulations! You Failed."

It’s very rare when people actually congratulate you for your failures. It's unheard of. People are obsessed with success and laud only our triumphs.

Is it justified that failures should never be celebrated? One should never talk about failures? Through this TEDx talk with an unusual yet incredibly relevant topic "Congratulations! You Failed," I take you through few stories - some are mine, some of others. Take a look at this video and then you can conclude for yourself whether we should celebrate failures or not.

Few points from the talk -

• I learnt a very important lesson in my life— there is no concept of failure, everything is an experiment and an experience that takes you to the next level in your life.
• When somebody tells me I suck at dancing— I laugh; but when somebody tells me I suck at writing— I am so hurt that my world comes to an end! Why is it so? Because I love writing!
• When you fail you get hurt, and when you get hurt you need to introspect!
• Failures come in our way to make us better.
• If you follow your passion the world will follow yours!

• Do you know why failures are important? Because, when you fail it means that you’re at least doing something in your life! You are at least alive! For people who don’t fail, they are not doing anything. They are more dead than alive.

• We need to be shameless and we need to change the rules around us!

• We need to believe one thing— that we born to do great things!

• Get hurt, feel bad, but act on it! Everybody fails, but ones who act are the ones who change the world!
