New Beginnings

Last Friday I closed one chapter in my career and left VMware after three and a half wonderful years. I will miss my friends and customers and was truly blessed and grateful for my time at VMware. I'll never forget the memories and friendships I made there. The people I worked with were crazily smart, ethical, humble and funny.

I've chosen to take a position at Amazon Web Services and I'm so very excited. When I first began my career in IT sales, I never imagined there would be a company that offered so many cutting-edge solutions in a pay as you go model that are accessible anywhere and anytime on demand. AWS is what I consider to be the "great equalizer" because anyone can use it to modernize and digitally transform their business. It's not limited to the biggest companies with the deepest pockets or to certain industries or verticals. From startup to Fortune 100, AWS is there for them every step of the way, providing state of the art services on demand.

So, here's to new beginnings, rolling up my sleeves and immersing myself in all things AWS and learning what it takes to be Amazonian. I'm ready and up for the challenge!
