New Branch Manager of Hanoi - Mr Yasuharu Ishii

In this issue, we would like to introduce our new Hanoi Branch Manager, Mr Yasuharu Ishii, who was appointed in September 2022. We discussed about his ambitions for his new position.

Q1：Can you share with us your thoughts when you received the appointment to be transferred to Vietnam?

(Ishii) I heard that there are still many potential customers who do not know about us as a freight forwarder that operates a transportation business. My first thought was to let more people know about our company, and expand our business including Hanoi branch.

Q2：It has been 2 months since you came to Vietnam. Could you let us know your impression of the country?

(Ishii) Well, it’s warm and humid. While other regions have a different climate from Hanoi, I feel that it is warmer here than summer in Japan. I hope to experience the change in seasons over the next year.

Q3：Do you have a message for our customers and partners?

(Ishii) In SG Holdings Group, there are different business segments providing logistics services, such as international freight forwarding, logistics, North-South trunk line transportation, domestic courier, international courier. Over here we can provide all services within our company. It’ll be our great pleasure to answer to your enquiries.

Q4：Lastly, any words for the staff of Hanoi branch?

(Ishii) It’s only been a month since I was here, but I feel that the teamwork here is amazing. If we can work well together with other branches, I am confident that we can become one of the best logistics companies of choice in Hanoi. Let’s aim high and bring our company to new heights, together!
