PEOPLE&PLANET: Newsletter #22 English
Hello!
Imagine an electric car that charges in just 30 seconds—no, it's not a video game; it's our new reality. This July, we launched the Silence S04, the first electric nanocar with removable batteries. We also unveiled one of the most significant archaeological finds in recent years on the Iberian Peninsula and announced that ACCIONA Culture will be developing two iconic museums in New York: the Hip Hop Museum and the Ellis Island Museum.
And that's just the start: we are introducing a new robot to aid in construction processes, rolling out more projects to drive sustainable development, and sharing stories of two #ACCIONAteam members who exemplify the human quality of our professionals.
Let's dive in!
ACCIONA LAUNCHES SILENCE S04, THE FIRST ELECTRIC URBAN NANOCAR WITH REMOVABLE BATTERIES
What once seemed like a dream is quickly becoming reality. We are thrilled to introduce the first electric city car with removable batteries, allowing for quick swaps with fully charged ones in under 30 seconds. The S04 represents our vision of a city seamlessly connected by electric and sustainable mobility.
ACCIONA CULTURA WINS TWO ICONIC PROJECTS IN NEW YORK: THE HIP HOP MUSEUM AND THE ELLIS ISLAND MUSEUM
ACCIONA Cultura is strengthening its presence in the U.S. with two exciting museum projects in New York: the Ellis Island Museum and the Hip Hop Museum, dedicated to the stories of immigration and the history of hip hop, respectively. Both will feature interactive and innovative exhibits.
We are proud to share these remarkable stories that are integral to U.S. history with a wider audience.
ACCIONA IS AWARDED 400 KILOMETERS OF POWER TRANSMISSION LINES IN PERU
We continue to expand the positive impact of renewable energy in Peru. Recently, we announced the construction of 400 km of power transmission lines, bringing clean energy to more regions across the country.
We take great pride in this project. Learn more about it here.
ACCIONA ENERGÍA AWARDED ELECTRICITY SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF SPAIN
Caring for culture is a core value for ACCIONA. And having the light that illuminates cultural spaces come from clean energy sources... that's just the cherry on top. This is essentially what ACCIONA Energía has achieved by providing the electricity supply for the National Library of Spain, meeting all its electrical needs and preventing the emission of 600 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere during the contract period.
ACCIONA USES NEW ROBOT FOR ALENTEJO HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION IN PORTUGAL
Did you know we are the first Spanish infrastructure company to continuously use a robot on site? The new HP SitePrint robot, employed in the construction of a hospital in Portugal, can print lines and text directly onto surfaces.
By introducing this robot, we overcame one of the main construction challenges of the project: executing the interior partitions of the building over a 140,000 m² floor area.
START-UP OF THE TUNNEL BORING MACHINE FOR THE S19 HIGHWAY IN POLAND
We have a passion for tunnels, as many of our long-time followers know from content like this. So we have just begun the construction of the S19 highway in Poland, featuring a double tunnel stretching over 2 km. We are excited for the journey ahead with our tunnel boring machine “Karpatka” and will keep you updated.
In the meantime, read more about the project here.

HOW A SOLAR PROJECT REVEALED ONE OF SPAIN'S GREATEST ARCHAEOLOGICAL FINDS
During the construction of the Extremadura I-II-III photovoltaic plants in Spain, we uncovered a treasure trove of history beneath our feet—over 3,000 years' worth! And so a new chapter began: the story of the Cortijo Lobato archaeological site.

5moOfrezco licencias o venta de la patente por país, WO2024/123169. Link: https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/es/detail.jsf?docId=WO2024123169&_cid=P11-LXWM4H-16420-1. Gracias.
