PULLING BACK THE GREEN CURTAIN ON DOJ & FEDERAL COURT SYSTEM (PART II)
LESSON: As a successful business leader, you must take a step back and understand the inside reality of how the DOJ & Federal Court System actually works. Knowledge is power, and possibly the protection you may need to be better prepared than I was. 100% true facts below (Part II).
The lesson below is an excerpt from my upcoming book, Icarus: Zero to a Billion to Zero, January 2026, Ash Press.
In the spirit of the massive new movement to bring transparency and accountability to the bloated United States Government, I want to release more true-life-experience facts and observations of the system. I am grateful for all the emails last week thanking me for opening eyes to so many leaders who, unfortunately, may need this information one day. Protect your success!
6. If you refuse the government plea offer(s), they will impose the Trial Penalty to convict you (98.5% conviction rate) and sentence you to 3X the time offered in the plea deal. This unconstitutional penalty is to punish you for standing up for your truth and due process and to keep the human factory line processing more and more indictments. I refused 3 separate plea offers: First 7 years, Second 5 years, Third right before trial 3 years (with program home in 14 months). After trial, I was sentenced to 14 years.
7. While the United States holds approx. 5% of the world’s population, the United States also holds approx. 25% of the world’s incarcerated population. Let that sink in. To exacerbate the issue, the U.S. has consistently increased the non-prosecution and release of violent criminals while radically increasing the imprisonment of business operators by the weaponized regulatory agencies, not to mention persecution of people for their faith and wrong political views.
8. Prosecutors are promoted based on the number of convictions and length of sentences, and the largest determiner of length of sentence is the amount of drugs found or amount of money lost. Judges allow prosecutors to hypothesize how much drugs were sold or held (Ghost Drugs) without evidence in order to greatly increase the sentence. Likewise, prosecutors hypothesize about how much money could have been lost (Ghost Money) to similarly increase white collar sentences. In my case, while all the facts showed that even if our investment bankers wrongly increased the price of a solar company stock, the firm would have gained $140,000 in extra fees. Yet, Judge Robert Doumar took out a No. 2 pencil, acted like he was scribbling formulas from his chair (great theater), and ultimately determined a $2.4 million loss to increase my sentence to 14 years.

9. Rarely does a trial happen without another defendant or inmate turning state’s evidence and testifying against the top defendant. Since it is technically illegal to reduce the testifier’s sentence for this testimony, the prosecutors make a deal for the reduction but don’t put it in writing until after the other’s trial and conviction. During trial the prosecutor asks in front of the jury, “Have you received any compensation or consideration for your honest testimony today.” To which the testifier claims they have not, so it must be true. In my case, the NYC banker who brought us the solar company stock and handled the valuations received immunity, even though he had done nothing wrong himself, and testified against me, the CEO, to ensure the top position was convicted. There is a special place in hell for cowards.
10. There are so many government workers and agencies that, allegedly, they must entice and entrap the uneducated, lower socio-economic class into crimes with exacerbated enhancements to these crimes. I worked on a great number of these cases in the prison law library. In one case in which I filed multiple motions, the federal record stated that alleged agents recruited immigrants to rob a fictitious stash house (house where dealers keep the drugs). Based on the filings, they allegedly helped them obtain weapons (more years) and armored vests (more years), and allegedly asked in the setup meeting who is the leader (more years) and on and on. Factually based on the record, there was no actual stash house but there was multiple long prison sentences handed down.
Protect your success. Knowledge is power. Take care of your family. Have a great week!
