Rebooting My Brain: Goodbye Fixed Mindset. Hello...
I'm partway through reading 'Grit' by Angela Duckworth.
It talks about the power of persevering through repeated failures until you see success.

If you grow up with any level of talent; and talent that's surrounded by...well less talent...
You tend to NOT develop grit.
And when you don't develop grit - your mindset tends to be fixed.

Here's the beautiful part - it's not too late to change.
Not too late to engage in growth activities.
Not too late to work upon something that will involve you 'failing' in it's initial stages.
For me the next frontier is learning Italian.
And demonstrating to myself that 'yes' - you can learn Italian to a very good conversational level in less than 3 months by studying it part time
