Stadium Review #1 - Truist Field - Winston-Salem, NC

Truist Field is the Demon Deacons' Home Stadium for Men's Football and is located in Winston-Salem, NC. The venue seats 31,500 and opened in 1968. Truist Field is the smallest football stadium, by capacity, in both the ACC and in all Power 5 conferences. Truist Field is a great medium-sized venue to take in a Division 1 College Football game. The crowd was ecstatic Thursday night as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons hosted the VMI Keydets in a Non-Conference game. The Demon Deacons led the entire game and won by the final score of 44-10. The Demon Deacons Mitch Griffis' had 288 yards passing with 3 touchdowns while the Keydets Grant Swinehart had 2 catches for 42 yards with 1 touchdown in defeat.

I would highly recommend visiting Truist Field if you are ever in Winston-Salem, NC and are looking to take in a high quality Division 1 Football game as Truist Field is a great venue. Every seat at Truist Field has you up close to the action on the field and there isn't a bad seat to be had. I will give Truist Field 4.5 out of 5 stars as the medium-sized venue was electric and the fans were very passionate and engaged as well. I am looking forward to visiting Bridgeforth Stadium in Virginia next weekend. Until then.
