Striding into 2024 - Southern region development launches and pipeline growth 🚀

Our Sales team headed up by Jon Hayward, have had a positive start to sales at Netley Grange and St. George’s Park, with several homes already sold off-plan. The developments comprise a total of 119 beautiful, character homes, designed sympathetically with the local area. Sustainability has been designed into the schemes, with homes at St. George’s Park featuring air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points. Adjacent to the development, a further 44 homes at Warwick Nursery have also commenced construction, with sales launching in Spring.

We are also excited to launch the exclusive 8 home development at Fontwell, with homes ready for occupation in winter 2024.

Our Technical and Construction teams recently completed the first homes at our most sustainable development to date. Hawkin’s Field in Fittleworth is a collection of 14 stylish homes with a mix of 1-4 bedrooms, which deliver high levels of energy efficiency, including several meeting the highly sustainable #Passivhaus standard.

Looking towards the future, we have a strong pipeline of both immediate and strategic land, with several more opportunities close to acquisition. This includes 229 homes across flagship sites we have acquired at Plumpton Green, Ashington, Sayers Common and Shripney.

Our Southern land team secured planning permission on Shripney in Q4 2023 with Arun District Council which will deliver 30% high quality affordable homes. Construction is anticipated to start this Spring, with sales launching latein the year.

To help deliver this pipeline, headed by Kevin Wawman, the team has recently been bolstered with senior hires across the business, within Finance, Land, Technical, Construction and Commercial. This includes the appointment of Alan Kemp to Construction Director who celebrates a milestone 25 years of service in 2024. Alan commented: "I’m proud of my achievements in this sector. The construction industry is a fantastic engine of the economy, providing numerous job opportunities and positively impacting local communities.”

We continue to seek opportunities to deliver more quality, award-winning developments and thriving communities.
