Tangled Web

Tangled Web

Oh what a tangled web we weave, what a life we lead.

At one end we chase material gain.

While parents seek fruits from a seed to feed their suckling in need.

Yet we still wrestle with each other for a fraction of a seed.

I try to kill off this endless human need.

However, it seems it’s the only way we breathe.

Much like a hummingbird looking to feed.

We continue to prosecute due to our endless greed.

Our greed needs to recede allowing unselfishness to precede.
