Thriving Thursday: Trials to Transformation

Thriving Thursday: Trials to Transformation

I used to think it was crazy to thank The Unknown for issues that arise – faults, neglect, loss of hope, prestige... But I realize these are catalysts for the transformation of my being. Without them, I would fall victim and accused of the same. In other words, without feelings of loss, neglect, faults and prestige, there would be no defining principle of my existence. I've come to value appreciating and honoring those who experience loss, neglect and faults. I wouldn't strive to become better if I hadn't been denied many opportunities. While I don't envy the trials promised to come, I remain humble, knowing we're all imperfect. Taking responsibility starts with saying, 'God, I need You.' Without the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent, words remain unfruitful – branches feeding sparks that turn to ashes.
