The Value of Relationships

The Value of Relationships

My friend, having CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is not the same as mastering its use, and certainly not limited to filling in fields in systems while the customer can navigate through their journey of stimuli and responses.

Believe it or not, the best salespeople I've had the honor to observe over my 35 years of professional experience aren't exactly fervent fans of CRMs.

The stark reality is that we leave a true fortune on the table due to our ignorance, not for a lack of technological understanding, despite the limitations that technologies may have.

It may not have become clear yet, but everything revolves around a fundamental element: people.

I was prompted by my friend, Paulo Mancio, VP of one of the construction giants in Dubai, to take the lead in my knowledge.

In the same week, a select group of international data scientists invited me to participate in a secret social project with the potential to save lives.

Yes, I am an expert in knowledge management who believes that science, fueled by an analytical culture, is our path forward.

I collaborate with some companies that, when combined, accumulate 1.6 million data points from the leading active companies in Brazil, spanning approximately 7% of various sectors of the economy. Yes, my network of contacts is incredible.

Some of the most extraordinary success stories are related to demand generation and achieving unprecedented results in international business. All of this because data goes far beyond simple CNPJs (Brazilian business registration numbers) and analyses of economic activity codes.

I have a deep restlessness to see beyond the numbers, exploring business opportunities that transcend conventional sales. I have profound respect for people's time, their leaders, and their companies. I admire executives and entrepreneurs who face risks deliberately.

However, understand well, deliberation has absolutely nothing to do with avoiding risks. On the contrary. We leave a true treasure on the table by not doing enough.

So, it all comes down to a game in which those who do more, make more mistakes, and that's perfectly fine. We learn, we correct, we improve... and we enjoy the journey.

Being happy and making things happen with joy is a great motto.

Some years ago, you praised a text of mine telling it was "exquisite". I will return the compliment! "Make mistakes and enjoy the Journey". It's outstanding! Tks for that Marco Marcelino 🌟
