The Victor’s Story

The Victor’s Story

There’s a strange sense of terror that comes with finding your own lane.

There’s a strange sense of calm that comes with it as well.

There are days when you wake up agitated, questioning some of your choices.

There are days when you wake up in a VIP hotel suite, planning to go to an event you’ve been invited to.

There are mornings when you don’t want to sit down and turn on your computer.

There are afternoons when you don’t even have the time to turn your head to eat.

There are times when you just don’t want to have another meeting.

There are times when you sit on a Zoom call for 14 hours straight.

There are days when you miss home on a month-long business trip.

There are certain evenings when you don’t want to go back home for another 3 more at least.

There are people who make you wonder what they really want from you.

There are people whose love makes you feel like you’re the king of the world.

There are moments when you want to break all of what you’ve built.

And there are days when you zoom out and look how far you’ve come.

When your head is down, your hands working non-stop, and enough reasons to make it, you’re already creating a story that people are going to listen to when you make it.

Your story still needs to be built.

Keep building it.

There are days when you feel that you've conquered the world. There are days when you feel like that's just the beginning. There are days when you think that you have reached the finish line. But there are days when you feel like there are still miles to go. There are days when you wish you had more hours in a day. There are days when you wish to end the day in a blink of an eye. That's called life. It's beautiful with its imperfections. Sometimes ugly too...
