What a drama!!
Hey there, my lovely LinkedIn fam!
Can you believe we're already halfway through the year? Time flies when you're having fun, and boy, have we been having a blast here! I recently launched my 'Influence' presentation skills and storytelling program online, and we're currently on week ten of twelve. I'm sure everyone is looking forward to a break, but hey, no rest for the wicked, am I right?
The beta test for the program was a huge success, and I'm thrilled to see how comfortable the participants have become with speaking to the camera. It's an essential skill these days, and I'm proud to be helping people master it.
Speaking of adapting to change, I recently took a trip down memory lane and looked back on all the jobs I've ever had. It was a real eye-opener to see how many of those businesses no longer exist. But hey, that's life, and we need to keep moving forward. That's why I'm currently working on a prerecorded iCan program for schools. I've been speaking in schools for eighteen years now, but it's time to embrace technology and inspire them from afar.
Of course, not everything we try works out, and that's okay. During the pandemic, I launched the 'Inspire the Nation' initiative, but unfortunately, it fell flat. But you know what they say, if at first, you don't succeed, try, try again.
In the spirit of learning, I'm including a FREE tutorial from the Influence program in this month's newsletter. Most speakers never do what I share in this clip, but trust me, incorporating it into your presentations will make you stand out and engage your audience like never before.

And if you're hungry for more, keep an eye out for the next online program launching later this year, or if you're feeling adventurous, come join us at our live Influence Storytelling Retreat. Warning: attendees often don't want to go home!
The next event takes place at the wonderful Oulton Hall Hotel and Spa near Leeds. Take a look at this short clip with more details about it.
21-23rd July.

As for me, I'm off to Dorset for a couple of speaking engagements. Wish me luck, and enjoy the rest of your week!
Cheers,
