What we can control is our RESPONSE
Most of us find it quite hard to tackle with changes, behaviors and external factors because we do not have control over.
It is difficult to overcome our uncertainty when changes come, or when others behave as they do.
This happens because we focus on our instant reaction.
What we can control is our RESPONSE!
How to RESPOND:
Just ask yourself:
· What is my initial reaction?
· What is the factor that I mostly fear of or dislike?
· How could my response be?
· Do I focus on the positive aspects?
· Do I focus on the negative feelings?
· Do I concentrate on the benefits of a change?
Considering and answering the above questions, we certainly realize that our final RESPONSE to any uncontrollable situation, can differentiate from our initial reaction, by focusing on the positive outcomes and benefits of such a situation. So, we should just give ourselves time to RESPOND.
