When Things Fall Apart!
Let me start with a confession, I was furious for most of yesterday. Not annoyed or mildly irritated—furious. The kind of anger that makes your pulse race and tests your self-control.
I’m sure you’ve been there. Maybe you’ve built anticipation for something, poured your heart into it, only to watch it start shattering before your eyes. When that happens, how do you handle it?
I’ll get to my story in a moment, but first, I’d love to hear yours.
Now, about why I was furious.
Imagine a week long preparation and hype. You’ve rallied your team, invested time, and created buzz. And then, at the last minute, you find out there’s been a miscommunication, and the scheduled video isn’t going live.
The Entrepreneur’s Fork in the Road
At that moment, I was caught between two impulses. On one hand, I wanted to confront the team member responsible, to make it clear how much their oversight had cost us. On the other hand, I was reminded of something powerful, a phrase from the very video we had worked so hard to create:
"Entrepreneurs have the trait of being able to adapt to situations."
Those words stuck with me, cutting through my frustration like a breath of fresh air. Instead of spiraling, I channeled that energy into action. Fueled by this renewed perspective, I sprang from my seat, fired up my laptop, and pulled up the video file. Luckily, I had a version of it saved for editing.
Now, here’s the thing: I had never used CapCut before. But in that moment, nothing was going to stop me. I watched a few tutorials, got to work, and powered through the night. By 4 a.m. West African Time, I was ready to upload the final cut.
And as I clicked "publish," all I could think about was the resilience of entrepreneurs everywhere. The people who keep going, adapting, and pushing forward, no matter what obstacles are thrown their way.

What Do You Think?

I’m no professional, but I poured everything I had into making sure the message was delivered. Because that’s what entrepreneurship is all about, figuring it out, even when it feels like the odds are stacked against you.
