Whisper I can do this

Whisper I can do this

Becoming an inspirational leader is a complex and nuanced journey and is unique for everyone.

You see other people who inspire you, and if you analyse what it is about them that inspires you, that can give you clues about their leadership style and your values and beliefs, but this will never provide an exact formula for becoming an inspiring leader yourself.

There are many different approaches to becoming more able to inspire and motivate others to work with you to create your vision, but there is a common fundamental step for everyone. You need to be able to inspire yourself first.

For most people, working on their confidence is the primary step in the journey, or potentially working on being able to access it when they need to.

This is because most of the factors that cause others to be inspired by you are non-verbal and subconscious.

Inspiring others is about the feeling you create in them, not the things you say, or even do. A lot of how we influence other people comes directly from how we ourselves feel.

Before working on developing your inspirational leadership style further, check in on how you first inspire yourself:

💡 How confident do you feel about your capabilities and your vision for what you want to achieve?

💡 How much does your vision inspire you?

💡 Do you have any doubts or beliefs that prevent you from being excited and motivated to achieve this vision?

💡 Are there any situations that affect your confidence and how inspired you are about your vision? If so, what is it about these situations that has this effect?

Whisper ‘I can do this’ to yourself before you shout ‘We can do this’ to the world.

You got this.
