Why July is a GREAT month to get fully booked
We know during July a lot of people start slowing down for the summer. Kids are breaking up from school, holidays are being taken and it feels like a time to laze by a pool somewhere and order margaritas from the bar.
But the reality is that the world doesn’t come to a grinding halt simply because it’s the holiday season.
Of course, for certain industries, there is what we call the ‘summer sag’ where a particular market or industry slows down but even while the pace of activity cools off - people are still buying, it doesn’t come to a complete standstill.
In fact, I always find that July is a great time to sell online, especially if what you’re selling is a service that starts up in earnest in September or October.
A time for reflection and making plans
Although people are generally in ‘holiday mood’ during July, that also means they are more relaxed and they have more time to think about what they want to do for the last 3-4 months of the year.
And when something irresistible comes their way, your clients are potentially more likely to give it some serious thought and say ‘yes’.
One year I completely sold out my event for October before the end of July.
So as there are only a few days to go until we reach July – why not take a few hours over the next few days to plan out what you are going to focus on selling over the course of July.
This is what you need to do:

Get ready to go
If you firm up all your plans over the next few days, then you will be well and truly ready to focus plenty of worthwhile effort on selling your offer come 1st July – and you just might find that July becomes your best month of the year.
Let me know in the comments what are you going to be selling in July/August and why your potential clients should buy it and be excited?

Infinity 500 Club
My focus for the next few weeks is on the Infinity 500 Club which provides fantastic support to coaches who are incredibly passionate about helping their clients get the transformation they seek but struggle to connect the dots when it comes to marketing and selling their services. This can leave the coach feeling dissatisfied and wondering whether they should give up. The Infinity 500 Club takes away the overwhelm, provides amazing support and gives them a clear path to achieving their goals.

Hi, I’m Carole Bernadette Bozkurt and I’m a Sales Coach, Marketing Strategist and Business Mentor. I work with coaches and consultants to help them get the clients they deserve on demand. My clients are hugely talented and passionate about what they do but struggle to deliver the outcomes they need when it comes to selling themselves and their services.
I have worked closely with hundreds of coaches and consultants who go from earning hundreds of pounds per month to thousands of pounds per month and to the position of running 6 and 7-figure-a-year businesses.
In my last corporate role, I headed up marketing across Europe for the world’s largest actuarial consultancy in the financial management division. Before that, I worked for a company that pioneered executive coaching in the UK and we worked with over 50% of the FTSE 100 at main Board level.
Thanks for the knowledge! 🧠

2yThat's an interesting perspective. I wasn't planning on promoting anything in particular in July or August. Most of my clients are mums of school age children so I find they tend to be distracted by sports days, school events and social activities in July

2yPeople are open to planning ahead for what they will be doing after the summer ends - if they are wise- I agree July/Aug is a good time to do business.
