Why be Positive?
Thoughts are very powerful, they are energy and dictate what energy you carry in you. They are a refection of your beliefs and this is reflected in your personality. It doesn't stop there, it also affects the people around you.
Positive thoughts are uplifting, motivation and have a satisfying effect. They are invigorating. This type of attitude generally energizes yourself and the people around you.
Negative thoughts hold low energy, are demotivating and have a draining effect on you. they make your day look gloomy and sad. Negative thoughts have the hidden power to turn a festive gathering into a funeral wake.
A positive attitude is a magnate and attracts success, people, and self-satisfaction, while a negative attitude blocks all good from coming to you. we humans have a natural tendency to avoid people with negative attitudes.

We can describe attitude as the way we look at the world and more importantly ourselves. If you choose to focus on the pessimistic things in the world, you are on negative axis of attitude. However, if you choose to focus on the positive things, you will be more on the positive axis of attitude.
A positive attitude promotes better health and a positive person have more friends. Developing and having a positive attitude also helps you deal with stress and problems of life in a better way as compared with negative attitude.
A positive attitude begins with a healthy self-image. If you like the way you are and are satisfied, confident and sure of yourself, you make others feel the same way too. And having a negative attitude has a double disadvantage, you feel bad about yourself and you make other people feel the same. I call negative people energy-vampires.
In today's world of information, the media mostly feed us with negative information and turns us negative unconsciously . A study shows that for 14 things a parent says to the kid, only one is positive. It really is a sad thought. Although it is impossible to protect yourself from the negative things around you, you can still adopt a positive attitude by focusing on the good things, the positive things in life. Hopefully, your positivity will have ripple effect and the negativity will start to fade.
