Your Dreams Never Expire

Your Dreams Never Expire

Have you ever let age stop you from pursuing one of your dreams? Many people have confided in me, sharing how my book Do What You Love reignited their inspiration to create. Incredible people in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond have admitted to not exploring their creative pursuits because they thought that time had run out and their dreams were stuck in the past. But that's simply not true.

We are never too old to pursue what brings us joy.

You know what they say - age is just a number. And our dreams don't come with an expiration date. Just look at some of the inspiring individuals who pursued their passions later in life. People like Grandma Moses, a true artist at heart, picked up a paintbrush at 76 years old and created masterpieces that captured the world's attention. She is proof that we are the artists of our lives and it's up to us to splash colors on our blank canvases.

Stan Lee, the creative genius behind iconic superheroes like Spider-Man and the X-Men, began his comic book adventures in his 40s. Julia Child discovered her love for cooking in her 30s. Laura Ingalls Wilder didn't start writing the "Little House" series until she was 65. Vera Wang started her design journey at 40 after a successful figure skating career. And Colonel Sanders didn't start KFC until he was 65.

Your journey is uniquely yours. We are never too young or too old to make our dreams come true. You are the artist of your life at any age. Your journey will always be a masterpiece in progress, and every day offers a chance to rewrite your story. Embrace the wisdom you've gained, the experiences you've lived, and the dreams that have been waiting patiently for you to respond to their call. Whether you're stepping onto a new path or reigniting a long-held passion, your potential is unlimited. You hold the pen to your adventure, and the best chapters are yet to be written.

Keep creating.
