This is your wake-up call!
The heartbreaking and eye-opening tragedy at #WellsFargo, where an employee was found deceased at their desk four days after clocking in, is a sobering reminder of something many of us face but rarely address - the relentless pressures of work that can sometimes lead us to overlook our own well-being. What’s even more alarming is how this went unnoticed by cleaners, supervisors, and colleagues for four entire days. How could no one notice their absence or lack of response? Did the manager, colleagues, or anyone they interacted with not feel concerned by their sudden disappearance?
This incident should prompt us all to reflect on an essential truth: You must come first. Please do not prioritize anything at the expense of your #mentalhealth.
Consider the times your supervisor has asked you to cancel your leave because something "critical" came up at the office, or when you’ve worked late at night, on weekends or holidays just because the task at hand was deemed "important and time-bound." How often have you found yourself stressed out, because of your workload but also because your mood is directly tied to your manager’s? Some managers, unfortunately, manage stress poorly, becoming snappy and hypercritical, and scolding employees for even the smallest mistakes. They may take pride in their harsh behavior, believing it drives results, but in reality, it only harms the employee's morale and #mentalwellbeing.

This is not the way to live or work. No job or company should come at the expense of your well-being.
Prioritize yourself. Set boundaries. Take care of your mental and physical health. Understand that while your employer might be able to replace you, you are irreplaceable at home.
This catastrophe is a wake-up call for all of us. Our well-being should always be your top priority because, in the grand scheme of things, nothing is more important than our family, health, and happiness.
