Continuing on with celebrating all of our students from last semester, we wanted to congratulate the 11 participants who earned their certificates of completion from the in-person Developing Leaders for Organizational Sustainability course! Over the past few weeks, participants engaged in immersive learning, enhancing their leadership skills in areas such as global challenges like climate change and water scarcity while boosting organizational resilience, brand image, and profitability. In addition, they worked through personal assessments, thoughtful discussions, and interactive activities. A heartfelt thank you to the faculty—Iris Berdrow, Ryan Bouldin, Dave Symanski, Laura Jackson Young, Jonathan Ericson, and Bryan Koeller, CFA —for delivering an impactful and practical learning experience focused on leadership for organizational sustainability.

As we kick off the New Year, we wanted to take a look back at last semester and congratulate all of the students who came through our classrooms on their efforts. We had a fantastic fall semester and we couldn't have done that without such amazing learners with us! Let's start with the successful conclusion of the in-person Strategic Leaders for Organizational Success program. Congratulations to the 13 participants who earned their certificates of completion! Over our few weeks together, they engaged in hands-on learning to enhance their leadership abilities, refine their skills in crafting and executing business strategies, and foster collaboration through real-world business simulations. Participants also participated in personal assessments, thought-provoking discussions, and interactive activities. Mareike Möhlmann, Computer Science faculty and Professor in the upcoming 3-day AI For Business Advantage Program highlights how AI impacts "The Future of Work". “Our assumptions about what type of work will be automated in the future are changing. A few years ago, the dominant assumption was that creativity is a human trait and very difficult to automate. However, recent AI tools can generate pictures from text prompts, indicating that AI can indeed ‘be creative.’ While most researchers today assume that simple and repetitive tasks are the most likely to be automated (which I agree with), it’s difficult to predict what AI will be able to do a few years from now. We are so proud to be part of the annual Massachusetts Conference for Women and take part in the transformative #PowerInUnity with #MassWomen on the pathway to true success. This year's 20th anniversary event did not disappoint! On the path to success, it’s easy to get caught up in what others want from us—expectations, external validation, or the illusion of what success should look like. But real, lasting success comes when we align our actions with the truth of who we are. Oprah Winfrey said it beautifully: “I have to find some level of truth in your intention so that I can sit in the truth of my own intention.” This quote reminds us that authenticity matters. When we lead with truth—our values, our purpose, our unique voice—we inspire others to do the same. It’s in this space of honesty that success becomes meaningful. Some of the reflections to take away from Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King's conversation: Don’t pursue paths, projects, or relationships that don’t resonate with the core of who you are. If your intention doesn’t sit in truth, the reward will feel hollow. Instead, let your spirit guide you. Let your actions reflect you. When you do, success isn’t just an external achievement—it becomes an internal reward. This, not a single high-point in your career, drives your legacy - inspiring others with your truth and understanding the lasting impact it has on others. Lead with your truth.
