Please join us to hear all about what has been implemented owing to work carried out via the LSIP & LSIF ‘’You said, we did’’. 📢 What to expect: ✅ Networking & Refreshments. ✅ Experience Redcar & Cleveland College new Hydrogen Electrolyser Virtual Reality equipment and software. ✅ Learn about updates in provision including ‘’Introduction to Hydrogen and Carbon Capture (CCUS)’’ courses accredited by OPITO. ✅ Hear about the journey from concept to delivery from JBA Engineering and the use of AI in the development and design. ✅ Discussion sessions to provide feedback and share ideas. ✅ Tour of the Clean Energy Hub - see in practise the very first simulated bespoke Carbon Capture and Hydrogen Electrolyser Rigs with VR headset experience. ✅ Tour of the new Welding Academy – to visit the brand new, purpose-built welding facility designed to fulfil the current skills need in industry. We're proud to announce that the winners have been chosen for our inaugural 'College Bursary Programme'. The scheme, aimed at promoting careers in #civilengineering, has been supported by the Management Board of CECA North East, championed by Ross Markwell of Esh Group and driven by members of our 'young professionals board' (named the CECA North East Foundations Group.) Congratulations to our CECA North East Foundations Group who have appointed a new leadership team in Ben Adcock CEng MICE of Costain Group PLC (Co-Chair) | Lauren Parsons of MSF (Vice-Chair) and Matthew Tetley of Absolute Civil Engineering Ltd (Co-Chair) who will drive the group activities throughout 2024 - 2025, with a particular focus on education engagement, skills & training and CPD events in Sustainability, Climate Change & Social Value.
