💡 UPDATE: We’ve just launched the latest version of 5G Scientist! 🔎 What’s new? The new version provides real-time information about your 5G and WiFi radiation levels and offers an estimated daily exposure based on your habits and connectivity patterns. It also tells you how much of this radiation comes from your device and how much originates from surrounding antennas. ➕ Plus, by using it, you’re contributing to Europe’s first large-scale Exposure Map—a digital representation of radiofrequency exposure across different locations. This map will help identify good and bad connectivity spots in cities, providing valuable insights for both individuals and policymakers. Check the current status of the map here: https://lnkd.in/drkcATRM Download the app here: https://lnkd.in/d2vnSMCZ Martin Röösli, Nekane Sandoval Diez, Giovanni Maccani, Anna Higueras, Ideas for Change, Anke Huss, Hamed Jalilian, Stefan Dongus, Jürg Fröhlich, Marco Zahner, Lloyd Roga, Silvia Ariccio, Fields at Work LLC, Rob Tieben, Suzanne Tholenaar, René Luigies, Berry Hermans, Games for Health, Sergi Serra Espinosa, Lea Beláčková

📲 An updated version of the 5G Scientist app is almost ready! With this update, you’ll be able to learn firsthand about your network strength, your device’s WiFi and 5G radiation levels, and an estimate of your radiation dose. While you’ll get this information instantly, you’ll also be contributing to a European exposure map—a digital representation of RF-EMF exposure across different locations. This map will help identify areas with good and poor connectivity in cities, providing valuable insights for both individuals and policymakers. 💡 Stay tuned, very soon you'll have news about this!
Hey hey!👋🏽 The new ETAIN app is going to be launched soon 🦥 Are you ready? The app collects data on RF-EMF exposure in different countries. By gathering thousands of measurements and with your help, ETAIN will be able to create rich and interesting exposure maps around Europe. Check this webinar and get ready for what's to come... https://lnkd.in/dAPqCebs

🐝 One of the objectives of the ETAIN project is to determine how much 5G radiation power is absorbed by insects when exposed to given levels of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMFs). The aim is to understand how this absorbed power is distributed throughout an insect's body, how it varies from one species to another, and whether it depends on the insect's developmental stage. 🔎 Additionally, the project is investigating whether RF-EMFs impact insect biodiversity, particularly the diversity of insect pollinators. This is being studied through a longitudinal experiment, in which insect trapping is repeated over time in areas consistently exposed to RF-EMFs. 📶 In our daily lives, we are constantly exposed to 5G and WiFi radiation. This exposure varies depending on where you are and how you use your technological devices, making it difficult to determine how much radiation your body is absorbing. This is where the ETAIN 5G Scientist App comes in. 📲 We have developed a pioneering tool that provides you with all the information you need about your exposure to radiation, along with practical tips on how to reduce it while using your devices. Download the ETAIN app and check it out! https://lnkd.in/d2vnSMCZ

🎙️📡 Last week, Martin Röösli introduced the #5GScientistApp from the ETAIN project at the first Zürich Population Research Conference. ❗ Interestingly, even among a highly knowledgeable audience of researchers, many expressed uncertainty about their daily 5G exposure. This underscores the need for tools that bridge the gap between science and public awareness. 📱 The 5G Scientist App aims to do just that. It provides users with insights into their daily exposure to mobile and WiFi radiation, empowering them with knowledge. Beyond individual use, the app also contributes to a European-wide mapping of mobile phone radiation, laying the groundwork for future research on the potential health effects of 5G technology. 🌍🔗 If you'd like to join us in advancing this important research, you can download the app on the Play Store today! https://lnkd.in/d2vnSMCZ
