About us
The mission of the Philadelphia Department of Revenue is the timely, courteous, and prompt collection of all revenue due to the City of Philadelphia, and all tax revenue due to the School District of Philadelphia. This includes the billing and collection of water and sewer charges. The Water Revenue Bureau provides all billing and collection functions for water and sewer charges. We ensure that the Philadelphia Water Department has the financial resources needed to provide reliable, high-quality water to Philadelphia residents, businesses, and communities. The Department of Revenue also administers the City’s many tax and assistance programs.

GREAT NEWS: The North Philadelphia Services Center at 2761 N 22nd Street (Hope Plaza) is now open to the public. This satellite office will operate the same business hours as the others, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Satellite offices offer the following services: · Apply for payment agreements like the Owner-Occupants Payment Agreement (OOPA) · Apply for tax and water assistance – like Homestead and the Tax Freeze. · Pay water bills, city taxes and fees. Walk-ins are accepted; no appointment is necessary. Cash payments are only accepted at the Center City Municipal Services Building. Please share the news!
