2 words: Thank you. Amanda Williams and I just finished 2025 planning and as we reflected on this past cohort at #PHTA, we’re honestly struck by the impact of our Executives in Residence. To Micheal, Jessica, Scott, Taylor… The sheer dedication – investing over 240 hours of your time, expertise, and energy into our founders – speaks volumes about your genuine desire to see the new generation of healthcare innovators succeed. When we sought recommendations for Fall 2024 EIRs, of course we wanted to bring in dynamic “movers and shakers” rooted in the community. But we were also after something more substantial. The “doers and provers.” People who know what it’s like to build something from nothing, can engage founders with candor (straight talk, no chaser), and show the mutual respect that a founder’s risk-taking deserves. You all nailed it 🎯 The four of you went FAR beyond traditional mentorship roles—from engaging strategy sessions, opening doors to your networks, to being thought partners for our team, etc. We’re full of gratitude for your belief in our vision at Prosper HealthTech Accelerator ⚡️powered by gener8tor. Thank you again for joining us!

Officially #PHTA alumni! We couldn’t be more excited to have the Heartful Sprout team as portfolio members.
Wrapping up Prosper HealthTech Accelerator ⚡️powered by gener8tor, led by Kellie C. and Amanda Williams, I’m so grateful for the transformative experience and connections made along the way. 🌱 Why Heartful Sprout matters 🌱 1 in 3 children in the U.S. face preventable nutrition-related health conditions, costing over $180B annually. Eating habits formed by age 5 stick for a lifetime, making early intervention critical—especially in under-resourced communities. We’re addressing root causes to build a healthier future. Alison Smith Jiri Fiala But more importantly, I would like to share health tech trends I have observed during this program: 1️⃣ Early detection and prevention are saving lives. Acting sooner not only reduces suffering but prevents downstream costs to patients and systems. ⏱️ CheckMySpot was the perfect example of detecting skin cancer before becoming severe. Elizabeth Webb Joseph Webb 2️⃣ Broadening the focus of care I have seen more efforts in bringing overlooked demographics into the conversation. 🤝 It has never occurred to me that fertility solution has been heavily on women until Hera Fertility (Techstars '23) launched at-home fertility test kit and solutions. Thivaher (Thiv) Paramsothy April Rutter 3️⃣ Improving patient compliance and engagement Despite advances, better patient compliance and engagement are still needed to improve outcomes and reduce costly readmissions. 📈 OrbDoc is changing hospital discharge process to prevent patients from readmissions. Abdus S. Muwwakkil Sudharsan Ananth 4️⃣ The push for healthcare workforce efficiency continues Technology helps reduce strain on overworked providers while improving care delivery. 🏥 segMedix Co. focuses on radiologists' efficiency using real-time prostate cancer imaging AI technology. Ray Fujita Kenny Burzynski 5️⃣ Personalization is becoming central—tailored solutions are helping people achieve better results and feel more empowered in their care. 6️⃣ Addressing health disparities with accessible solutions is unlocking healthier futures for more communities. ✨ What made this journey special: ✨ Through the accelerator, my team connected with 50+ mentors, partnerships, potential clients, and investors who kindly shared invaluable insights. This cohort wasn’t just a group—it became a family, including our A-team EIRs (Scott Frederick, Michael Catalano, Taylor McCown, and Jessica). And thanks to the relationships we built, Birmingham is now a second home base for us. Yes, Birmingham is a special place for Health Tech. This is just the beginning. We are excited to keep building, growing, and making an impact. Thank you again, Mickey M. Matt Hottle J. W. Wrapping Up an Incredible Journey with Prosper Health Tech After three months in Alabama with the Prosper Health Tech program—led by the amazing Kellie C. and Amanda Williams—I’m leaving with immense gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead. Key Takeaways: 1️⃣ Alabama Is a Growing Health Tech Hub There’s something special brewing here with passionate people driving real innovation. 2️⃣ It’s the Perfect Place for Hera Fertility (Techstars '23) From strong advocacy groups like ASRM to incredible REIs and urologists, a family-centered culture, and rural areas in need of care, Alabama confirmed why it’s ideal for building a fertility startup. 3️⃣ Community and Collaboration Matter Beyond the insights on growth, partnerships, and insurance, I’m especially thankful for the friendships forged with founders of four other game-changing health tech startups. 📈 September? Good. 📈 October? Doubled. 📈 November? Ask Me Your MD, Inc. (AMY MD)’s best revenue month yet. It’s been a noteworthy quarter for the AMY MD team and we couldn’t agree more with Dr. Patricia Kelly Marsh, MD’s recommendation for other high-performing founders: prioritize rest this holiday season. Doctors orders ✅ #PHTA #Alumni
As a CEO, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to balance the demands of managing and growing a business. During this holiday season, I want to remind you to take time for yourself. Rest and recovery aren’t just luxuries—they’re necessities for staying mentally balanced and at your best. Prioritizing your wellness isn’t just good for you; it’s good for your vision, your team, and your business. Week 2 at Prosper HealthTech Accelerator ⚡️powered by gener8tor. This morning was a convo on selling into health systems. There are many ways to approach the convo--but we've seen founders have the most success when they habitually dedicate time to understanding all the stakeholders involved. Often, it's these four individuals... #PHTA A vision of Prosper Powered by gener8tor
