  • 🌍 Today at our Interregional Meeting In Lithuania, we had the privilege of listening to Milda Paukste, Co-founder at DenimDiaries, discuss a critical issue in the textile industry: waste. 🧵 Milda’s presentation, "Confronting Stains: Why Stained Clothes Are Not in Demand on the Secondary Market and How They End Their Life Cycles," shed light on the harsh realities of textile waste. It's shocking to realize that many textiles, after being collected in containers, end up in places like the Atacama Desert. 👗 The Desierto Vestido project is a powerful example of raising awareness about this issue. It highlights the importance of sensibilization in addressing textile waste. Let's continue to spread awareness and work towards sustainable solutions in the textile industry! 🌱 #TextileWaste #Sustainability #DesiertoVestido #DenimDiaries
