About us
SITES is a rating system that guides, evaluates and certifies a project’s sustainability in the planning, design, construction and management of landscapes and other outdoor spaces. The Sustainable SITES Initiative reposted this
We had a marvelous time talking about The Sustainable SITES Initiative at the American Society of Landscape Architects Conference in DC this week. The landscape architecture crowd sure knows how to get together: the expo hall floor was alive with trees and plants, dogs, instruments, and multiple playgrounds. They are keenly aware of the importance of building our outdoor spaces for #biodiversity, #resilience, and carbon reduction with tools like the SITES rating system. I'm so excited to see what new projects come from this passionate group! #ASLA2024
