📌 October 31st - International day of the Black Sea In our current reality, this day holds even greater significance for every Ukrainian, as we are confronted with the pollution of the Black Sea by explosive substances. The war exerts a profound impact not only on shipping, tourism, and the environment, but also on the destruction of marine life within the Black Sea. 🚩 During the full-scale invasion, the number of dolphin deaths within the Tuzly Lagoons National Nature Park rose from about twenty per year to three thousand in just two years. Overall, along the Black Sea coast, more than 50,000 dolphins have perished, and hundreds more have suffered acoustic trauma. 🩵 The Black Sea requires urgent protection and restoration. Together with the TOURAL project team, we are working to revive tourism on the Mykolaiv coast. Source: https://lnkd.in/gQqCeaTB
