Today is the International Day of Solidarity With the Palestinian People. As Israel continues its genocidal campaign against Palestinians in Gaza and escalates its repression and violence in the West Bank and the region, this day serves as a powerful reminder of our unwavering determination for liberation. The movement in solidarity with Palestine has never been more urgent—a solidarity rooted not only in resistance to colonization and oppression but also in the pursuit of justice, freedom, and dignity for all Palestinians. We must amplify Palestinian voices, challenge complicity in these atrocities, and demand an end to decades of military occupation, apartheid, and systemic violence. This visual in our series on anti-Palestinian racism captures case studies from primary and secondary education. In countries that support Israeli colonial control, Israeli advocacy groups are pressuring schools to silence, defame, exclude, and punish Palestinian narratives. Anti-Palestinian racism is one tool that is enabling a broader trend of right-wing attacks on public education, aimed at preventing students from learning about racism and oppression. These attacks harm students, disrupt the civic function of schools, and uphold and justify the oppression of Palestinians, including genocide. Special thanks to G. Laster @g.li.la for research and design on this visual. Special thanks to the Arab Canadian Lawyers Association for creating a framework that names, and outlines the impact of, anti-Palestinian racism.

As Israel’s U.S.-backed genocide in Gaza rages on, anti-Palestinian racism silences, excludes, erases, stereotypes, dehumanizes, or defames Palestinians, those who are perceived as Palestinian, or anyone who expresses support for Palestinian freedom. Our latest visual offers a framework for this distinct form of racism, and how it dehumanizes Palestinian people, erases Palestinian narratives, and represses dissent against Israeli racism and oppression. Special thanks to G. Laster for research and design on this visual. Special thanks to the Arab Canadian Lawyers Association for creating a framework that names, and outlines the impact of, anti-Palestinian racism.

This #WorldChildrenDay serves as a reminder to uphold the rights of every child. Systemic Israeli violence places the rights of Palestinian children under constant threat. Children face unimaginable hardships including targeted killing, forced displacement, detention and torture, forced starvation, and the loss of the safety of homes and loved ones. No child should grow up like this. Palestinian children, like all other children, deserve to dream, play, and thrive in safety and dignity. Use our recent visuals to show how Israel targets Palestinian children in the West Bank and Gaza. https://lnkd.in/eEgraJNZ

In Gaza, Israeli forces have killed the old and the young including hundreds of elders who carried Palestinian history and memory, and babies and toddlers who were Gaza's future. We updated our interactive platform, Remember Their Names, to include the names of 34,344 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Gaza from 7 October 2023 to 31 August 2024. This staggering figure includes only those whose names and ages could be identified by the Ministry of Health in Gaza. Thousands of people remain missing or unidentified because their bodies are damaged beyond recognition, they have no surviving family to identify them, or the Ministry has been unable to recover their bodies amid the ongoing genocide. Visit the platform here: https://lnkd.in/dsbXPW4K Special thanks to Ahmad Barclay, who volunteered his time and expertise to develop this platform, and the volunteer who helped design some of the figures. #ArmsEmbargoNow

On October 29, 2024, an Israeli airstrike killed 93 Palestinians in Beit Lahia, amid a systemic extermination campaign in north Gaza. Those injured in the massacre have no access to medical care, because three days earlier, Israeli forces attacked Kamal Adwan Hospital and abducted 44 of its 70 staff. Our latest visual highlights the continuous targeting of Palestinian healthcare workers and facilities by Israeli forces in Gaza, focusing on the enforced disappearance, torture, and murder of Dr. Iyad Rantisi, the director of the maternity department at Kamal Adwan Hospital. Special thanks to Majd Alrafie (@majdalrafie) for illustrating Dr. Rantisi’s case. #ArmsEmbargoNow View and download this visual: https://lnkd.in/eeRdK2_S

On September 26, 2024, the Israeli government said it had secured $8.7 billion in U.S. military funding as it expanded its genocidal violence to Lebanon. A few days later, the Biden administration pledged $157 million in U.S. humanitarian aid to Lebanon, sprinkling crumbs over catastrophe to distract from its complicity. Since October 7, the U.S. has pledged $18 billion in funding to the Israeli military versus $1 billion in humanitarian aid to Gaza. Data on U.S. military funding and humanitarian aid must be read together to understand how the U.S. and Israel impose political control with both bombs and bread. U.S. companies and contractors profit on both sides of the equation. #ArmsEmbargoNow View and download our latest👇 https://lnkd.in/eMwEYkqD

A year ago today, we published “We Had Dreams” in response to the start of the Israeli bombardment of Gaza, highlighting testimony from Palestinians in Gaza to the world. At that point, Israeli forces had already killed 1,900 Palestinians in Gaza, injured 7,700, and ordered 1.1 million people to leave their homes in just one week. It was clear that we were witnessing the start of a live-streamed genocide. Today, as we re-share the platform, every person featured has seen their world irrevocably altered. At the same time, too many people have become desensitized to the daily atrocities Palestinians continue to face. Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh, a doctor quoted on the platform, was tortured to death in an Israeli prison after being abducted by Israeli forces from Al-Shifa Hospital. Others have lost family members, lost their homes, or been forced out of Gaza.
