Visualizing Palestine’s Post

On September 26, 2024, the Israeli government said it had secured $8.7 billion in U.S. military funding as it expanded its genocidal violence to Lebanon. A few days later, the Biden administration pledged $157 million in U.S. humanitarian aid to Lebanon, sprinkling crumbs over catastrophe to distract from its complicity. Since October 7, the U.S. has pledged $18 billion in funding to the Israeli military versus $1 billion in humanitarian aid to Gaza. Data on U.S. military funding and humanitarian aid must be read together to understand how the U.S. and Israel impose political control with both bombs and bread. U.S. companies and contractors profit on both sides of the equation. #ArmsEmbargoNow View and download our latest👇 https://lnkd.in/eMwEYkqD

The cost of war are higher than the cost of PEACE. The investment in WAR always, in so many wars we have seen since WWII, are multiple times the INVESTMENTS IN PEACE As it is a business: those TALKING, PLANNING and CONDUCTING WAR, get more ATTENTION, MORE MEDIA COVERAGE, MORE MONEY than the HUMANITARIAN AGENCIES and HUMANITARIAN WORKERS Before the humanitarians were NOT A TARGET, NOW the murderous and genocidal regime in ISRAEL has chnaged this: Humanitarians be warned WE CAN KILL YOU and today is the UN day! A BLACK UN Day

Imagine the benefits that could have been achieved had the $8.7billion in US military funding to I have been allocated to ' humanitarian aid ' instead of $157 million. Giving in one hand to the perpetrators of inhumanity and giving ' humanitarian aid ' to the targets with the other hand, is completely ludicrous. If this is a ' veiled ' attempt to mask your complicity, then the US has failed miserably. We ' see ' you. 🕊️🕊️🕊️
