I like to start on the positive, the location is great. Central to everything within few minutes walk, a little tricky to get to by car but no different to any other historical town. The staff were lovely and helpful, but then realised that the lady running the breakfast is also the housekeeper and I think that says a lot. This hotel may have been 4stars a long time ago, but now it has sunk down to 2 starts, it is in need of a major refurbishment. We had a fairly spacious room for 3 people, but the colour scheme must have been painted by a colour blind painter on an acid trip! It was painted in lolly pink and sunshine yellow with contrasting skirting in mauve and brown! The fan in the bathroom was running all the time, making this suctions noise day and night! The breakfast was horrid! The same slices of cheese and ham were presented every morning, until the hedges started curling. On our floor there was a water dispenser, with the most horrid plastic cups, which were communal to everyone on the same floor! My advice to the owner, which lives in the hotel, is to take a road trip and visit other 4 star hotels to compare what is out there, because with the right refurbishment and the location the hotel would be a wonderful asset to Arezzo..

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and with maid service each day. I opted for a small room because I was solo but they have larger rooms for couples and small families. Less than a 10-minute walk from the train station with convenient service to Florence, Assisi, and Orvieto. Food options are plentiful. Up the hill from the hotel is the lovely Cathedral with more shopping and food options. The hotel is central, on the main roundabout/rotary, but sleeping was not a problem. I'll be back. WiFi available but I walked over to an internet coffee/pastry shop, sipping espresso while I did some work on my computer.

Accept Serena reception with professionality and gentleness. Good level of cleaning and order. Good location 3 km from the city centre. Recommended.

Ho soggiornato con il mio cane, appena arrivati ha passato molto tempo appena a cercare e segnalare qualcosa sotto il mobile di fronte al letto, di facile accesso (forse 40 cm dal pavimento). Non ho dato molta importanza alla cosa ma la mattina ha continuato ed ha tirato fuori una capsula di un integratore. Avrei lasciato correre la cosa pensando ad una svista che poteva succedere se non fosse che ha continuato e quando mi sono chinata per controllare c’era un’ altra capsula di un medicinale e tantissime ragnatele e altro sporco. Ne ho parlato alla ragazza alla reception che ha sottovalutato molto la cosa dicendo che l’ avrebbe fatto presente alle ragazze delle pulizie troncando più volte il discorso e parlandomi sopra, sembrava proprio infastidita dalla mia segnalazione. Per me e’ una cosa inaccettabile, non solo l’ accaduto ma la totale scortesia e maleducazione nell’ affrontare la situazione. Non mi era mai capitato che una receptionist mi parlasse sopra ed interrompesse quello che le stavo dicendo. Io sono molto fortunata perché ho un malinois che è addestrato e segnala cibo e veleni, ma se fosse stato un altro cane avrebbe ingerito ben 2 pastiglie di medicinali con relative conseguenze. La zona era facilmente raggiungibile da scope e aspirapolvere, quindi trovo che all’ apparenza sia un posto pulito ma nel dettaglio il personale addetto sia molto approssimativo nella pulizia. Nel complesso trovo quindi esagerata la cifra di 100 euro a notte per 1 persona, ricevendo un simile trattamento. Nel complesso personale veramente pessimo, anche la ragazza alle colazioni che sembrava capitata lì per caso e molto infelice. Credo di aver incrociato il proprietario la sera appena arrivata e mi e’ sembrata invece una persona molto accogliente e sorridente, probabilmente se avessi avuto la possibilità di parlare con lui si sarebbe quantomeno scusato, cosa che invece non e’ avvenuta.

Lascio in stanza, in una busta chiusa e sigillata con 3 scatole di torroni presi a Benevento (a 400km per omaggio per i colleghi in ufficio), che mi sarebbero serviti il giorno successivo. Torno la sera in stanza, appena apro la porta, trovo la busta aperta ed una scatola spacchettata e i torroncini mangiati per metà confezione. Ho fatto presente alla reception dell'accaduto, mostrando le foto, mi rispondono che avrebbero verificato con la responsabile del piano! Poi....il nulla, manco le scuse! non mi frega dei torroncini, alla fine li ho lasciati pure in stanza il giorno dopo (giorno del check-out) cosi li potevano pure finirli! Ma il fatto che, entrando per riassettare ed hanno aperto una busta chiusa e spacchettato le scatole coi dolci, lo stesso si potrebbe fare con le valige e/o borse chiuse che chiunque lascia in stanza quando si pernotta per più giorni. ! DELUSO, DELUSO DELUSO. Lo farò presente anche nella mia azienda per evitare di far pernottare noi dipendenti li. Very large hotel located at the exit of the motorway,very comfortable to reach Arezzo.Very nice staff,excellent reception,coming fast. Breakfast is excellent, with so many cakes and cornettes,the salad part is also excellent,abundant and varied,super gentle and available. I didn't like cleaning in the halls of the rooms, dirty and sweet moquettes, large room,but there is no box,it's all left out to the sight.The square sanitary are very uncomfortable,notably bidet, There is no room in another cover, nor any additional coats, as usual, are very thin,in return for the bed was very comfortable, no chair was present next to the bed and in our bathroom there was a bathroom,very uncomfortable. Pay €4 a bottle of water at the bar is a thief. Overall 4* to be revised.
