First visit to a Hard Rock Hotel and it met my expectations. Hotel is in a small resort, which we were aware of so we had a hired car for the duration of our stay allowing us to visit bigger resorts as and whenever we wanted. Had to pay €12 per day to use hotel car park. We usually stay in 5* at Playa Del Duque and have never had to pay to park. HRH is a money spinner, we were half board and found drinks were expensive. Lunch at Constant Grind also expensive albeit really great quality. Lots of entertainment throughout the day and evening, some better than others. Room was great - we were in a gold suite and can’t really fault it. Breakfast and dinner in the buffet was manic! Very very busy and like a school canteen, food was generally of good quality, however in the evening it wasn’t a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It was a case of eat and leave as soon as possible. Would I return? Probably not, however it seems lots of guests were returning customers.
2nd year back to the Hard Rock Tenerife. We had an issue with our room on the first night but the hotel were super quick to resolve it. All areas of the hotel are super clean. Service is excellent. We went all inclusive this year and the restaurants and cocktails are great. The kids absolutely loved the roxtars kids club. Joaqui, Paola, Sire, Paula and Indira were amazing. We got to use the gym and adults pool whilst the kids were happily entertained. They do a great mini disco in the lobby each evening. I think for what you pay all inclusive, they could offer a mini bar in the room. We’re considering coming back next year.
