☀️Graspan Solar PV Power Plant Update ☀️   In October, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Graspan PV Plant, a renewable energy project which is set to meet the electricity needs of approximately 80 000 South African households. Nestled amidst the towns of Bedford, Cookhouse, Adelaide, and Somerset East, ENGIE’s Golden Valley Wind Energy Facility is transforming the landscape of renewable energy in South Africa. With 48 Goldwind turbines generating an impressive 477.6 GWh annually, this 120MW onshore wind farm is making a real impact—powering approximately 163,000 households with clean, sustainable energy. ⚡🏡 But it doesn't stop there. By offsetting 419,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year, Golden Valley is playing a vital role in South Africa's journey toward a greener, more sustainable future.

🤝 ENGIE and OCP Group have signed a strategic partnership in the presence of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Emmanuel Macron, aimed at accelerating OCP Group’s energy transition and actively contributing to Morocco’s energy transformation.   With over 100 years in Morocco, ENGIE is a key energy player in the Kingdom. This new agreement marks an important milestone, strengthening our presence through the development of ambitious projects in renewable energy, energy storage, green hydrogen and its derivatives, electrical infrastructure, and sustainable desalination.
