The University of Mpumalanga (UMP) is officially a member of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) - a global initiative by the United Nations dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)! 🌍
Speaking at the launch Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation & Internationalisation, Professor Aldo Stroebel, said: “We are honoured and privileged to launch UMP’s membership in this global network. This opportunity allows us to share knowledge, build capacity, and advocate policy for meaningful change in sustainability.”
UMP Vice-Chancellor Professor Thoko Mayekiso, added: “This is a milestone in our pioneering journey. We’re proud to join a network mobilising the world’s leading academic institutions to address critical sustainable development challenges. We look forward to contributing to and benefitting from SDSN’s collective efforts.”
