Speaking at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), NWASCO Director Eng. Kelvin Chitumbo emphasized the organization’s dedication to improving school sanitation infrastructure, raising awareness on WASH issues, and supporting water quality interventions. “This partnership reflects our shared vision of building healthier, more resilient communities, especially for our youth,” he said. Additionally, NWASCO and BORDA will collaborate on documenting best practices and supporting the nationwide Water Conservation Plan under the ongoing Drought Response Plan. Eng. Chitumbo expressed gratitude to BORDA for their dedication and shared vision, highlighting the potential for lasting impact through joint efforts. He called on all stakeholders to support the initiatives, noting that together, they could foster a culture of water conservation and sanitation that ensures sustainable development for Zambia's future.
