This past week in Cape Town I joined Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) President Kartina Tahir Thomson at Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA) Annual Convention 2024. During that time we had the opportunity to have very fruitful meetings with ASSA President Costa Economou, ASSA CEO Imran Mahomed, the @Actuarial Society of Ghana Executive Director Mark Nyl Henaku, the Actuarial Society of Zambia Council Member Michael Toms I finally remembered to get a photo when we met with the Actuarial Society of Zimbabwe Council Members Blessing Mbukude and Gerald Chimbga FIA, CERA We look forward to continuing to work together to support the growth and influence of the actuarial profession across the continent and increasing the recognition of the value of actuaries. #Instituteandfacultyofactuaries #ifoa #assa #africa #actuaries
