Amazon has now announced this year’s summer Prime Day dates – the festivities will be kicking off on July 16, 2024 and, as usual, carrying through to end of day on July 17.  The 48-hour event is now officially on the books and we will be here working literally around the clock – I’m not just saying that, we literally (almost) don’t sleep at all for two-days – to ensure as much of the money you worked hard to earn stays in your pocket while still being able to bring home some sweet gear. Just after Best Buy announced and launched its Prime competitor Member Deals Days event (it is now in full swing), it was only a matter of time before Walmart surfaced with its own big summer sale. Now officially scheduled to start on July 8 and run through until Thursday, July 11, Walmart is looking to get in on the action with what it is calling “its largest deal event ever.” We will be the judge of that, but it certainly sounds promising.
