Happy World Standards Day 🎂📏 Today, we honour the importance of standards which play an important role, by increasing the quality, safety and compatibility of products and services. Under IEEE Standards Association (SA), several standards are developed. At ITCC, we would like to especially highlight a new standard proposal, approved by IEEE SA in 2024, which has garnered significant interest: P7100 - Standard for Measurement of Environmental Impacts of Artificial Intelligence Systems. This standard aims to establish a much-needed measurement framework to report on the environmental impacts of AI. P7100 Standard: https://lnkd.in/ej7fx_Xw
